For a healthy and safe work culture in Nepal
Training programmes at OHSSN
Training is an important and essential part of Occupational Health and Safety programmes to reduce injuries and diseases in the workplace. Training enables managers, supervisors and the workers to understand the workings of safety management systems and the legal compliance required. They will then understand their own responsibilities and necessary actions to be taken towards upgrading health and safety at their respective workplaces.
Workers, by themselves, cannot do much to improve health and safety. It is the management and the supervisors that hold the key. Management must understand occupational health and safety and show their commitment toward it, while supervisors should implement and supervise the safety systems. Workers must comply and show their cooperation towards these efforts.
It is also very important that the health workers at the workplaces have good knowledge about occupational health hazards and their remedies.
OHSSN training courses are specially designed for the management, supervisory personnel and occupational health staff.
