This is Ajaya Dhakal, a mechanical engineer, from Virginia, USA. I hold Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tribhuvan University (IOE), Nepal. I am currently working on my Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in Old Dominion University. I worked as a Mechanical Engineer in in Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (Nepal).

I am knowledgeable and experienced in diverse areas of mechanical engineering as Mechanical Design, Biomechanics, Manufacturing and Project Management. I was one of three team members representing Nepal in Asia Pacific Robot Contest 2003. I developed a technique to diagnose the subtalar joint instability along with Orthopaedic Surgeons from Naval Medical Center Porstsmouth, VA, as a part my Master's Degree.  I believe in hard work and honesty, I believe myself as an excellent team player. I have expertise in Computer Aided Design using ProEngineer and SolidWorks, and have hands on experience in Finite Element analysis, concept to prototype development and machine tools operation.
